We all share the same spaces, we all want clean shoes, and we all want to see clean grass around our neighborhood. Also please remember pets are not allowed to run at large per the CC&Rs and local leash laws. If you need immediate response to a pet concern, please contact Animal Control or Code Enforcement. FOR SALE SIGNSAn Owner may erect one (1) sign not exceeding two (2) feet by three (3) feet in dimension, fastened only to a stake in the ground and extending not more than three (3) feet above the surface of the ground advertising the property for sale. DRYER/KITCHEN VENT CLEANINGDon't forget to clean out your dryer or kitchen vents. This is an owner's responsibility, and clogged dryer vents can reduce dryer effectiveness and lead to fires. Safety TipsCHECK INTERIOR PLUMBINGInterior plumbing failure can lead to serious water damage. Original units had plastic connectors for the wall-to-toilet water hose. These plastic connectors have been known to fail. INSTALL KITCHEN RANGE ANTI-TIP BRACKETA kitchen range anti-tip bracket is a single or two-piece device, supplied by the range manufacturer, which must be installed at the base, behind the range. It helps to prevent the range from tipping over or tilting while pressure is applied to the open oven door. All ranges should be equipped with this device in order to prevent serious injuries or death. CHANGE BATTERIES IN SMOKE ALARMS TWICE A YEAR At least twice/year install new batteries in battery only-operated smoke detectors and test them per manufacturer's instructions to ensure proper operation. Replace any battery-operated smoke detector that is older than 10 years to ensure reliable performance. PURCHASE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS FOR YOUR HOME TO HELP KEEP OUR COMMUNITY SAFE FROM FIRE Fire extinguishers can be used to provide immediate protection against small fires if they are available and accessible when needed. To help provide this protection, class 2A-10BC fire extinguishers should be on hand and placed where they are clearly visible in case of emergency. Fire extinguishers should also be inspected monthly to help maintain reliability. |
